An Advice

An eagle, advanced in years, advised an eaglet thus:
O thou, whose wings may one day aspire to the heavens above,

Be consumed in the fire of thy own youthful blood;
Endurance sweetens all the sourness of life;

More pleasure there is in pouncing upon thy prey,
Than in sucking the blood from its vanquished stillness-.
